You tooted!

I was helping the girls slide in the back yard when some Cox guys showed up to fix and bury our cable line. Elise's foot made a squeaking sound as she went down and Elle started shouting, "You tooted Mama! You tooted!" I loudly explained that I had not tooted and it was Elise's foot that made the sound, but she wouldn't let it go. She kept shouting and shouting it and I kept loudly explaining until I finally ignored her. Then she said, "What was it then? A frog?"

  1. Oh dear! I don't know how I'll ever handle toots related humor. Tell me, do I even have another year of reprieve before he learns how to be embarrassing?

  2. Lacy- You probably have one more year before potty humor takes hold. It seems to start closer to three. Now, that doesn't mean he won't embarrass you in plenty of other ways. Like, pointing at great grandma and saying, "ugly teeth" or something like that. Not that MY kids have ever done anything like that....... : )
